(TIML NEWS) A doomed hooker left two crack pipes, a nearly empty bottle of booze and a half-smoked joint in a Lower Manhattan hotel room before winding up in a nearby apartment where she apparently died and was stuffed in a barrel TIML has learned.
Nicole Flanagan, 42, checked into the Hampton Inn on Pearl Street on Aug. 4 for a planned one-night stay in Room 804, a hotel worker said Friday.
“It’s the best room — with a balcony, the city view and everything,” the worker said.
Although the going rate is $300, Flanagan was a frequent guest of the hotel chain and used her “silver member” points to cut the cost in half, the worker said.
The troubled mother of 3 left either late on the night of Aug. 4 or very early on the morning of Aug. 5 but never returned to check out, so the hotel extended her stay and only charged her an additional $100, the worker said.
But “when they realized she wasn’t coming back,” employees entered the room and found it littered with the crack pipes, an almost empty bottle of Hennessy cognac and weed, the worker said.
Other items strewn about included a pair of pink panties, a pair of black “booty shorts,” cosmetic bags and a single, slingback stiletto heel shoe, the worker said.
Law enforcement sources have said that Flanagan was last seen in public riding an elevator to the 22nd floor of the apartment building at 95 Wall St. with a 25-year-old gang member from Queens around 1:50 a.m. on Aug. 6.
On Aug. 11, the ex-con brought a large plastic barrel into the building and one day after that he was spotted wheeling it to a U-Haul van with an unidentified man who parked the vehicle at the rear service entrance, the sources said.
On Aug. 13, Flanagan’s naked, decomposing body was found inside a 55 gallon drum left in a residential neighborhood in Ridgefield Park, NJ, but there no signs of injury and authorities are awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
The gang member is considered a person of interest in Flanagan’s death and is being sought by the NYPD for questioning, sources have said
