Court Presents Surveillance Footage of XXXtentacion’s Murder

(TIML NEWS) During a bail hearing for suspect Robert Allen on Thursday (Sept. 27), a court presented the surveillance footage of XXXtentacion’s murder, TMZ reports. The “Moonlight” rapper was killed on June 18 during a robbery outside of a motorcycle dealership.

Allen is one of four suspects involved in XXXtentacion’s death (Trayvon Newsome, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams). The footage shows two suspects trailing behind the 20-year-old artist, born Jahseh Onfroy, as the young rapper entered Riva Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida. As he exited and entered his car, Onfroy was approached by two other suspects that had their guns drawn.

Since Onfroy’s passing, fans and peers have shared their condolences and memories. One person in particular, J. Cole, recently revealed details of the conversations the pair shared in a cover story for Billboard.

“He was talking about spiritually and mentally, and that was intense because I was like, ‘Huh? I’m not on no level,’ ” Cole said. “He was praising me while also saying he was going to achieve whatever it is he felt that I had. I’ve dealt with mentally ill people in my life before, many of them. And right away, I notice that this kid is super passionate and smart, but I could also see that he was so deep in his mind.”
