Police Arrest Two Men Who Ran A Prostitution Ring From A Senior Citizen Facility

(TIML NEWS) Massachusetts police arrested two men who ran a prostitution ring out of an apartment at a senior living facility. Law enforcement say 65-year-old Joseph Van Wert and 45-year-old Randy Lambach  are being held without bail until their hearing on Nov. 29.

According to TIME. Lambach drafted female drug users in Pittsburgh, took pictures of them and placed their photos along with an ad on adult websites. Lambach scheduled the meetings, drove them to the men, picked them up and paid the women in drugs while keeping most of the money made.

Police say the prostitution was conducted out of Van Wert’s apartment at a senior living facility. To force the women to continue working, Lambach allegedly told the women he’d turn them into authorities.

It’s unclear at this time if either Lambach or Van Wert have lawyers.
