(TIML MUSIC) Donald Glover made history Sunday night (September 17th), becoming the first African American to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series for Atlanta (he also doubled up, winning the trophy for Lead Actor In A Comedy Series as well). However, the only thing some of his younger fans care about is his music.
During his post-award backstage interview, Donald quipped about the whereabouts of his nigh-mythical joint project with Chance The Rapper. “Music, I don’t ever wanna do anything because I’m forced to,” he begins, “Also, I feel like if I don’t make a Chance The Rapper mixtape, like double mixtape, a bunch of 14-year-olds are gonna kick my ass.”
So… there’s that.
