(TIML MUSIC) CyHi the Prynce is a quiet assassin. You don’t see nor hear him much, but bruh, when he comes through, his words and presence are felt deep in your soul. Following a stellar performance on Sway’s “Five Fingers of Death” freestyle, and his single, “Nu Africa,” the Decatur native released the new video for his track, “Legend.”

In the R. Malcolm Jones-direced flick, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper takes viewers through the impoverished neighborhood that he used to call home as he raps about friends hiding from cops, ex-girlfriends leaving him for men with bigger bank accounts, and his microphone bravery.

“Y’all want to hear some scary news/It’s 8:00/My partner just sprayed the block, now he got the whole neighborhood hot/Thanks a lot/I’m with a Heather B, and a Tracy G trying to Sway a cop/I told them he he was next door at Jason’s spot,” CyHi raps.

“Legend” is the second single from CyHi’s forthcoming debut studio album, No Dope On Sundays, which is slated for a summer 2017 release. It’s been two years since CyHi released his Black Hystori Project 2: N.A.A.C.P. If No Dope On Sunday’s is anything like his previous mixtapes, then fans can expect to hear relatable — and wise tales — about the traps of the streets.
