(TIML) Whats up guys!!!! a lot has happened since our last “RunDown” so lets get right to it. Chris Brown has been arrested following Tuesday afternoon’s standoff. In the least shocking news of the day, Chris Brown was arrested Tuesday night for assault with a deadly weapon following the fiasco that went down at his Los Angeles home In case you’re were sleeping all day & didn’t hear, Baylee Curran, a beauty pageant who had partied with Chris in the past, accused Brown of threatening her with a gun after an alleged argument over some jewelry early Tuesday morning. The police were called to Breezy’s home around 3 AM on Tuesday, where they stood outside for nearly 10 hours until a search warrant was finally granted to enter Brown’s home. Chris had been updating his IG page & expressing his thoughts on the escapade all day long, and wasn’t backing down from the police. “I’m sleep half the damn night,” he said in one Instagram video. “I just wake up and all these motherfuckin’ helicopter choppers is around, police out there at the gate. Come on, my ni**a. What the fuck else y’all want from me, bro? I stay out of the way, take care of my daughter, do work. I don’t even fuck ugly bitches, triflin’ bitches. Whatever the fuck it is, I’m not on that, bro…I’m innocent. Fuck everybody.”
During the home investigation, Brown reportedly threw a duffel bag out his window that contained a gun and some drugs in it, TMZ reports. He was reported to be very relaxed & cooperative with police throughout the day as well, but apparently none of it helped because he ultimately ended up in handcuffs.
Chris is being taken to the Robbery Homicide Division of the LAPD for questioning. We’ll keep you posted if any more on this story develops
This should be a real interesting story if told the correct way. So Dame Dash is ready to tell his side of the Roc-A-Fella story. According to Deadline, Dame Dash is currently developing an upcoming TV series that will dive into the rise of Roc-a-fella Records; the famed label he founded with Jay Z & Kareem Burke back in 1996.
Dash and the show’s executive producer, Lemuel Plummer, said the show would offer a “brutally honest account” of the Roc-A-Fella story, starting with Damon’s journey from street hustler to Jay Z’s manager, the label’s launch and release of Reasonable Doubt, and more. The series will also apparently take a look at Dash’s relationships with Aaliyah and designer Rachel Roy, as well as the infighting and rumors that ultimately led to Dash and Jay cutting business ties around 2004-2005.
Note, Dame clarifies that the series wouldn’t be a biopic about Roc-A-Fella however, but rather something similar to that of HBO’s version of “Vinyl” or FX’s “People Vs. OJ Simpson.
As for the soundtrack for the series or Jay’s thoughts on it, here’s what Dame told Deadline:
“As much music as I could get, I know what I own, and there’s a lot of different artists that would probably not have a problem with participating. And hopefully Jay doesn’t either, but as of yet we haven’t crossed that barrier. I’m not worried about that. What defined what we were doing is everything that was in my life equals Roc-A-Fella … there was a point of view at Roc-A-Fella I’m not quite sure people knew what it was. We had so much going on.
We’ll keep you posted as more details on the forthcoming show surface. Until then, let us know in the comments (below) if you’ll be tuning in to watch
